Established in London and based in Dubai, One Dollar is a creative studio which focuses on creating sustainable art by using renewable and recyclable material, film and
digital artwork. A percentage of each sale is donated to charity. Founded by Sarah Barlondo and Claudio Cardoso, the creative pair aims to raise awareness about our planet’s current and recurrent issues through art, film, photography, multi- media works.
Cláudio Cardoso is a British-Portuguese celebrity Chef and artist. His artistic career started at the age of 12 where he discovered street and won multiple awards as a teenager. Later on, he brought his art into his culinary creations and food designs. As an environmental activist, Chef Cláudio advocates for the preservation of rainforests around the world and cli- mate change. He is an ambassador for Cool Earth a non-profit organisation patronned by Dame Vivienne Westwood and 4oceans. Cláudio has traveled to the Amazon to support local communi- ties and research. He is currently Culinary Director at SLS Hotel Dubai.
Sarah Barlondo is a British-French actress, trained architect and disability activist. She pursued her passion for architecture, human rights and humanitarian design with a thesis in forensic architecture after honing her craft at Parsons, School of Design in New York and the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. She graduated with honors from Central Saint Martins and won the Design for Peace Award in 2018. As an actor, she has worked on Wonder Woman 1984 for Warner Bros, numerous Mexican TV series, French and British feature films (for Amazon Prime and Gaumont). She is soon to be seen in the Bollywood fea- ture film ‘Detective Sherdil’ alongside Diljit Dosanjh, set to release in the summer of 2024 and is currently on a Channel 4 TV film.
